What size tent will I need for my function?
Refer to the worksheet or call us for a free consultation.
Do the tents have to be anchored to the ground?
Yes, we use steel stakes pounded into the ground that is why we need 6 to 8 feet larger then the size of the tent. Also that is why we need utility line locates around the perimeter. The number of stakes depends on the size of the tent setup and how much windload it is subjected to. There are other things we can do depending on the situation if a storm appears.
Can I have the tent erected on concrete or asphalt?
Not recommended as it is very difficult to anchor on concrete. On ashphalt we will make a one inch hole which can be repaired with ashphalt plugs. An additional charge will cover this.
How much additional space is required when installing a tent?
Eight to ten feet around the perimeter will be required for ropes and stakes.
Can I install a 40’ x 100’ pole tent myself in order to avoid mileage charges? Do you have a tent that I can pick-up and set up myself?
Our trained staff will assist in the setup of the pole tents. The renter will supply six to eight (or more) to setup and take down the tents.
What determines whether or not I need a site visit?
If the space is clear and flat a site visit will not be required unless the space is irregular or has obstacles. If so then a site visit is recommended.
How far in advance do I have to place my order and do you require a deposit?
During busy seasons there are limited amount of tents. The sooner you book the better your chances are at getting a tent. A 50% deposit is required to secure your rental.
Will I need a permit for my tent?
Please consult your municipal government for rules and regulations regarding tent setup. You may be required to let the Fire Department and or the Liquor Board aware of your event.
What is your cancellation policy?
If cancellation is 45 days before event then a $25 administration fee will occur. If after 45 days the deposit is not returned.
Is there a charge for delivery and pick up?
There is a mileage fee which will be estimated at $1.50 a KM for delivery and pickup only,
Will you deliver out of town?
Does your staff require truck access to the setup site?
Tent parts are difficult to carry long distances so truck access is preferred.
What happens if I need my items delivered or picked up after regular business hours, on the weekend or on a Statutory Holiday?
Setup times and take down times will vary depending on availability of help for the renter and rentee and will be decided in advance of event.
I cannot wait for your staff to pickup the items after my event. Can I just leave everything stacked up in the yard?
If this is the case we can make arrangements in advance and detailed instructions can be given for take down and folding of tent pieces.
